Does anyone know how much and when this going to be released? Early/Late? Are they limited in numbers like the GT-500?

There is not much information about this car yet. The California Special Mustang will be produced in limited numbers but certainly not as limited as the Shelby will be. The price tag will also be closer to the basic GT Mustang than the Shelby GT500.
There is nothing official yet about when it will be released but it is expected to be available around the end of this year.

Not a bad idea, but if it doesnt have a molded spoiler like the original or even a duckbill spoiler I dont see it being a big seller unless the GT/CS package is less than a $1K option.

More information came and this option package will be offered for $1,900.
